Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, or related fields
At least 2 years of work experience in monitoring and Evaluation of development programs

Good level of proficiency in Windows Excel and quantitative analysis
Experience in program design and M&E plan development
Ability to design M&E tools, surveys, surveillance systems, and evaluations
Demonstrated ability to train and build capacity of others
Experience in a non-governmental organization
Ability to create effective and efficient systems for gathering and analyzing complex data
An effective communicator fluently both verbally and in writing in Kiswahili and English
Willing and able to travel extensively within Tanzania

Monitor all project activities and progress toward achieving the project output
Install M&E culture to UWEZO Staff and Partner staff
Develop a project monitoring plan (PMP) of the projects in line with project documents
Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system, develop indicators, and monitoring strategy for the project
Provide input, information, and statistics for quarterly, annual, and other reports to Project Management Team
Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project Manager in preparing relevant reports
Assist in coordinating across the available components of the project to ensure effective implementation of M&E
Support research and advocacy work through data collection, analysis, generating strategic working document support program staff to produce quality donor and government reports
Key writer of fundraising documents including proposals, project, and Uwezo Tanzania profile
Perform other duties as required
