Qualifications

Proven experience with the private sector, government, development partners, financial institutions, NGOs, or community-based organizations.
Minimum of five (5) years leading high-performing teams in problem-solving and analytical roles.
Consulting management experience (2+ years) at a leading firm is preferred.
MBA, Economics, Public Administration/Policy, or related master’s degree with an excellent academic record.
Bachelor’s degree with at least second-class upper honors.
Relevant body memberships (e.g., CPA, CDFA) are advantageous.

Experience interacting with senior-level management.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Outstanding written, verbal, and listening skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Familiarity with ERP systems or web-based portal applications (e.g., SharePoint).
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, self-driven environment.
In-depth understanding of the Tanzanian market and industry trends.

Manage overall account engagement and client relationship as the primary point of contact for Business Consulting.
Lead proposal preparation, maintain a robust pipeline, and convert leads and proposals to projects.
Coordinate delivery of Business Consulting projects and actively seek opportunities to recommend/sell additional EY services.
Engage the market through seminars, workshops, surveys, and meetings.
Manage financial aspects of engagements, including invoicing, A/R management, work-in-progress, and margin monitoring.
Collaborate across EY to develop and deliver holistic solutions addressing client challenges.
Create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members.
