Qualifications

Hold a piping and/or mechanical inspector or rotating inspector certification issued by a recognized international certification scheme such as ASQ, AWS, CSWIP, PCN
Minimum of 12 years of piping/mechanical inspection-related working experience in the oil & gas sectors
Previous quality assurance/engineering experience and demonstrated knowledge/use of quality tools/methodologies

Competency in industry applications such as Assure, OMIE, Aconex, PowerBI, P6, CMT, SharePoint, Adobe, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
General knowledge of upstream oil & gas surface facilities
Understanding the impact of mechanical quality within the critical path of construction planning programs
Experience with model review in SP3D, E3D, PDS, PDMS platforms
General knowledge of codes such as API 1104/650/686, ASME V, IX, B31.1, B31.3, and PCC-1

Directly support the Contractors, ensuring delivery of the pipeline and associated facilities and infrastructures are on-time and within budget
Review Contractor’s submitted documents and procedures, such as ITP’s, QCP’s, and SOP’s
Monitor compliance with the company contractor mechanical document deliverables and data
Maintain and update databases and record storage for piping/mechanical reports and compliance audits
Perform routine reviews of equipment/materials/installations to ensure conformance and build integrity
Monitor the coordination and supervision of pipe-to-pipe flange management and bolt torque activities
Monitor field inspections of flange alignments, bolt torque, and static equipment placement
