Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years related experience
- Proficiency in financial software and tools including Quick Books or MIP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, web browser software
- Good written and spoken English and Swahili

Responsibilities
- Prepare financial transactions such as payment requests
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software
- Prepare monthly cash advance request for office operations
- Extract and consolidate reports from financial systems for country managers
- Process payroll and issue payments after review and approval
- Prepare payments and file taxes including any applicable withholding taxes and returns
- Review advance requests and advance reconciliations/expense reports for accuracy
- Track repayment of advances and enforce policies related to reconciling advances
- Manage petty cash
- Maintain a filing system of supporting documentation
- Perform administrative procurement processes
- Implement contractual terms for orders and payments
- Arrange logistics for staff travel, events, workshops
- Carry out administrative tasks in the office
- Support with audit by collecting and consolidating documents
